Pet Food/Recall List
Canines in the News
Dogs are newsworthy.  We hope to provide the latest bits of information, entertainment, and anything noteworthy here.  If you have news, or your own story to send, please send it!  Or, if there's something going on in the dog world that you want to know more about, let us know and we'll try to find out and post it here.

The most important news is the major pet food, and now treats, recall so I will post updates as fast as possible.  However, please note that none of Unleashed's products have been affected by the recalls.

Pet Owners Worry About Food Recall

FDA expects pet food death toll to rise

By Julie Schmit and Elizabeth Weise, USA TODAY

"Federal regulators said Monday that contaminated wheat gluten is the most likely source of deaths in a large pet food recall, and that it is investigating whether other pet food makers got wheat gluten from the same supplier.
The Food and Drug Administration also said that it expects the number of deaths linked to the food to grow . . ."

If the recall isn't bad enough, you should see how "Menu Foods" operates on a daily basis!

Beware, this investigative report includes debarking the dogs that the foods are tested on, and many euthanizations.

(P.S. This article was linked on my site before the latest issues with Menu foods- I just moved it here to add to the current articles.)
