Hello everyone! My name is Isabella. I grew up in the mountains of Asheville, NC, but moved to Wilmington to attend UNCW in 2020. Combining my interest in behavioral science and my desire to help others, I graduated with a degree in psychology and a minor in anthropology in 2024. 

 

For as long as I can remember, I have always loved animals. My parents always thought it funny that I never played with dolls as a kid but always had stuffed animals or some animal-related toy. This love evolved into volunteering at local animal rescues, fostering dogs, and even working in a pet store as my first job. In my free time, you can probably find me at the gym lifting weights, caring for my plants, kayaking, or with my Australian Shepherd, Olliver. Like most of you reading this, my dog is my best friend, and we spend much time together walking, hiking, or learning new tricks. 

 

Since beginning my journey with Unleashed in November of 2023, I have been dedicated to helping every customer learn more about how they can improve the lives of their pets. Sometimes assisting the customer also involves learning with the customer and figuring out solutions to unfamiliar problems—which I think is one of the best things about the job: building upon your current knowledge so you can best help our customers (both human and pet)! Every day I work, I look forward to seeing dogs and meeting people like me who love their pets and want to make them happy!
